On the journey to driving in a hurry comes a huge speed bump – cops. We all speed some time in our lives and the feeling of being paranoid for getting pulled over shouldn’t be felt. There are lots of justified reasons for speeding – business meetings, hospital visits, family emergencies or even your kid’s big game. The thing that the law doesn’t seem to leave room for is exceptions.
Fortunately there is a cure for speeding without getting caught – radar detectors. However, before you buy just any radar detector, please note that not all radar detectors are created equally. This is especially true with the Escort Radar Detectors.
Escort Radar Detectors are the best radar detectors out there. I know that that statement is pretty strong, but read on and discover some of the reasons why I have stated that. First, the Escort Radar Detector does not deliver false alerts – unlike many competitors. It is rather annoying picking up signals of automatic doors that all stores have. Beyond that, sometimes it’s so annoying that you don’t even care to listen to the signals that are real. However, with the Escort Radar Detector, they weed out false signals by reading both the frequency and band readings. This way, you aren’t annoyed and their detector doesn’t go off unless there is a real reason.
Since owning the Escort Radar Detector, I have been able to avoid many speed traps and go without getting any speeding tickets. Don’t think that my driving behavior has any representation on why I haven’t gotten caught. I am a pretty aggressive driver and I need to have a reliable radar detector to keep me away from trouble. Without it, I’m sure that I would have accumulated many speeding tickets. In fact, I had a cop who is a good friend set up a speed trap for me just to see if I would be able to detect it. I did, and he was more impressed than I was. That’s how accurate these units are.
Some of the features that you will notice with the Escort Radar Detector its 6 segment LED meter. This display is exceptional for a radar detector. It fits so much on the screen. You can even set it to something called the ExpertMeter setting where it will display 8 separate signals, each having a 7-segment signal strength. It also has a plethora of other options like Dark Mode, Safety Warning System and a LOT more.
My experience with the Escort Radar Detector has been nothing shy of excellent. I know that there are other detectors out there that may seem like they are better options, but I go for functionality above all.
